Found these old gas pumps in a bicycle / coffee shop...original building was an old gas station ...

We use to buy Texaco gas. Their slogan was "Put a Tiger in your Tank" I still have a sticker in German.I though it funny because I always saw Tony the Tiger in my mind(he has nothing to do with Gas). He guess if I needed corn flakes and the car needed gas,lol. Nice find:-)

Great post. Yes, I am old enuf to remember the old "filling" stations. Where they would come out, fill your tank,check under the hood, clean your windows, and ask you to step out so they could sweep out your car with little wisk brooms.

I remember those! there was a gas station on my way to school that used those until he was forced to upgrade

Believe it or not... I remember seeing the sign for the Sky Chief brand... I loved an old black and white show back in my childhood called Sky King. It had a horse involved and I ate up anything with horses. So I guess I associated the two.
